Does Vismail Stream? No, Vismail does not stream video into the desktop, it delivers it embedded within the email for pop mail and calls it in for webmails. Does Vismail work with webmail? Yes, Vismail works on all webmail systems. Infact it sends Vismails individually optimzed for each of the main webmail clients. I have a MAC, can I receive Vismail? Yes, Vismail works on MACs, PC's and Linux machines without requiring any plug-ins. All that's needed to play a Vismail is a mouse click, or a mouse rub, depending on the environment chosen.

Can Vismail deliver viruses, or
exe files? No, Vismails are totally inert, they can only play, they cannot trigger off any other activity and they cannot install, or transfer anything to your computer. What do I need to download? To receive a Vismail you do not need to download anything - except your emails! To produce Vismail campaigns you need to have a Vismail account and you need to download the Vismail Media Suite Application. Currently this application only runs on pc. Can Vismails be tracked? Yes, Vismail campaigns are fully trackable - you can see who has opened them, what links they clicked on and who they forwarded on to. In addition you can track you bounce-backs, unsubscribes and can extract all of this data to run on Excel Spreadsheets.

Do I have to upload large video files? No, the Vismail Media Suite compresses your video files locally, before automatically uploading them to your media library. Do you have a spam policy? Vismail users sign up to a stringent anti-spam undertakings as part of the agreement. This ensures that only double opt-in lists an be used. This is supported by anti-spam measures during campaign building to ensure Vismail's get though without ending up in Junk folders. On larger campaigns, a small pre-campaign is run to gauge spam levels. If the levels are too high the campaign is pulled. Are Vismails blocked by Firewalls? Yes, very occasionally. Typically about 1% in a B2B mailing, less in a consumer campaign. As there are no exe files and active X is not used, most firewalls do not interfere.
